About the ministry
The Ministry of Education of Galmudug was established in the early years following the formation of the Galmudug State in 2006. Since its inception, the Ministry has played a vital role in shaping the region’s education policies and rebuilding the education system amidst ongoing efforts to stabilize and develop the state.
Following the establishment of the federal system in Somalia, the Ministry became one of the core institutions working closely with local communities, international partners, and the Federal Government to improve access to quality education.
